We have been getting heaps and heaps of requests for portable spas lately. And as you know already, we do not like to disappoint our readers. Thus, we decided to review one that has caught our attention: the Lifesmart Rock Solid Luna Spa.
This portable spa here has been making the rounds among our readers for quite some time and so, we intend to do a very detailed inspection to give you the clearest picture of the product. Read through carefully to find out if the Lifesmart Rock Solid Luna Spa is the spa that you are looking for. Let’s begin!
The Lifesmart Rock Solid Luna Spa at first sight
The Lifesmart Rock Solid Luna Spa uses and Plug and Play operation, which means you’ll be able to enjoy what it has to offer just about immediately. Just connect the lines, turn on the power, let it come to temperature, and you are good to go.
Apart from that, this portable spa from Lifesmart is a good-looker, to say the least. It actually looks like it came right out of the spa of a 5 star rated spa salon with its beautiful, artistic beige rock shell body and interior. You’ll love setting it up as a centerpiece on your yard or terrace, that’s for sure. However, we are not here for the looks; we demand performance, so let’s see more of its features more elaborately.
For starters, the Lifesmart Rock Solid Luna Spa accommodates up to 3 people at a time. However, given the sheer compactness of the tub, you could say it more of a 2-person thing. Not that it can’t accommodate 3 but it would get a tad bit more congested and crowded.
But for the records, the Lifesmart Rock Solid Luna Spa 29 x 66 x 70 inches in dimensions, and clearly very spacious and roomy for 2, at least.
The Lifesmart Rock Solid Luna Spa offers you a good range of temperatures to choose from.
However, we do recommend that you wait at least 24 hours after filling the tub for it to reach your desired temperature.
The jets are the most anticipated parts of a spa hot tub, and likewise, the jets of the Lifesmart Rock Solid Luna Spa are its most prominent features.
The Lifesmart Rock Solid Luna Spa uses 12 dedicated and powerful jets to bubble up the water and introduce air into it. We know that 12 sounds.. . .poor. Especially when most spas offer over 100 bubble jets. However, don’t be fooled because these jets do the job of 10 combined. They are strong and powerful jets and so you don’t need as many scattered around the tub like most spas.
In addition to this, these jets also double as massagers! You have 2 rotator jets and 9 directional jets (out of the total of 12) which do an excellent job target massaging your tired and aching muscles. Honestly, these jets will eventually become your excuse to get into the Lifesmart Rock Solid Luna Spa everyday!
The Lifesmart Rock Solid Luna Spa set also includes a lockable heat cover, which serves to insulate the water while it is coming to temperature.
In addition to that, it also serves as a safety lock from small kids who may be wanting to sneak in without your supervision. It furthermore serves to prevent any external junk like dust, leaves, and other contaminants from entering the tub.
What takes the Lifesmart Rock Solid Luna Spa up a notch from the others are the small bells and whistles it offers you.
First of all, you have a beautiful, soothing waterfall rippling water into the tub. Second, you have spa lights which do a great job setting an ambience and improving your mood. On that note, keep in mind that all of these features and more can all be set and adjusted all through the spa’s control panel.
Oh yes, you also have foot well jets included to cater to your worn out and tired feet. Very impressive!
First, the Lifesmart Rock Solid Luna Spa comes with a good 5-year warranty on the sell. Second, a 1-year warranty on electronics and pump, and finally, 90-day labor.
Needless to say, you are pretty much set with this spa even after purchase. Also, this was one of our best hot tubs for 2017.

Well, so far in our review of the Lifesmart Rock Solid Luna Spa, we have seen some great features and quality performance. However, it is definitely nowhere near perfect. The temp fluctuation in particularly is a big issue since it is well.. . .a hot spa! We also got a few complaints of rips and leaks but we ruled them out since they are a given. Having said that, the Lifesmart Rock Solid Luna Spa generous with benefits, advantages and perks if you consider the value you are getting in return of a price so mediocre. It may not be the best out there, but it definitely a satisfactory buy. We therefore recommend it.
